When ironworkers tackle vital infrastructure projects like power plants, they do so quickly, efficiently and with a keen eye toward safety. Ironworkers recently celebrated more than 50,000 injury-free man hours at the Marsh Landing Generating Station (MLGS) in Antioch, Calif. During peak construction, more than 33 members completed a medley of integral jobs, including modular building setup, sound suppression panel installation, and structural and support steel erection.
