New Standard Geotechnical Contract Document Is Now Available

In recognition of the complexity and unknowns common to underground activities, ConsensusDOCS has developed a new standard form agreement for owners and geotechnical consultants that sets forth the responsibilities and obligations for all parties. ConsensusDOCS 246 outlines best practices and fair risk allocation including consultant responsibilities, indemnity, insurance and waivers, and dispute mitigation and resolution. The agreement includes standard ConsensusDOCS provisions whenever possible, but also includes provisions that are specific to this type of agreement with a geotechnical consultant.
