Rehab Ingenuity at a Regional Airport

Locally owned and operated, Mobile Regional Airport in southern Alabama boasts over 10 years of operations and is home to the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Training Center. In February 2013, the Mobile Airport Authority filed an application with the Federal Aviation Administration to garner a small stipend for continued airport development and rehabilitation. Part of that involved the rehabilitation of a single 1,740-ft-long, 132-in.-dia culvert that ran under Runway 14/32.
