Innovative Shared Equipment Arrangement for Akron Hospital

In 2013, Akron Children's Hospital broke ground on a new, seven-story critical care tower. ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp. partnered with the general contractor, Welty/Boldt, LLC (a joint venture between Welty Building Company LTD and the Boldt Company), in an integrated lean project delivery (ILPD) model designed to drive down costs and maximize productivity. ALL's equipment onsite includes two tower cranes, 25 aerial units, four forklifts and several truck cranes-each serving a number of contractors.
