Major Upgrade to Power Substation Shelters

The aging electrical distribution network that powers Montreal's Gilles Villeneuve racetrack and paddocks badly needed updating and enlarging to accommodate the extra demands placed on it by Canada Grand Prix, a widely popular annual event. The nine rotted timber shelters housing the original electrical network were obsolete and out of use. The electrical power for this event was being provided by auxiliary generators. All of the timber shelters were identified as needing immediate and complete replacement.
