Converting Septic Systems

More than 17,000 homes in Marion County, Ind., are served by private septic systems, which have a limited life and eventually fail, seeping human waste into groundwater, backyards, and neighborhood ditches and streams. To address these health hazards, Citizens Energy Group contracted with Miller Pipeline to continue the city of Indianapolis's efforts to convert many neighborhoods on septic systems to the sanitary sewer systems, calling it the Septic Tank Elimination Program (STEP). Miller Pipeline's long and successful history of installing several types of pipe as well as directional drilling, along with its superior customer service and homeowner relations, made it an obvious choice to partner with to complete a project of this magnitude.
