With road network and feature information residing in a myriad of local repositories leading to data and process duplication, the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) sought to implement a new comprehensive linear asset management solution for more efficient data capture, analysis, and information mobility that would streamline processes and improve regulatory reporting. Known as Transinfo, the new system provided a connected data approach, integrating all network assets and asset information systems, enabling ODOT to timely meet reporting requirements.
