Critics Slam Border Editorial

ENR's editorial on the Trump administration's immigration policy drew some cutting criticism in comments posted to the web. In it, we argued that the "harsh, unneeded" deportation drive made illegal immigrants more vulnerable to exploitation, which should never be tolerated; that employers still face regulatory traps which date to previous Congresses and presi-dents; and that more legal immigration of low-skilled workers was the best solution to illegal immigration. Not everyone agreed.
