Construction starts in the San Francisco metro area are expected to rise 19.3% in 2021, to $7.3 billion, according to Dodge Data & Analytics. Dodge predicts a 14.4% increase in non-residential construction, while residential work is expected to rise 24.9%. Warehouse and multifamily are expected to see the greatest increases, while education construction is predicted to decline.
