The WTC Cortland Street Station rehabilitation was the final piece to restore the World Trade Center's transportation capacity after the Sept. 11 attacks. Work on the completely destroyed station had to wait for millions of sq ft of construction to proceed, with the project's $101-million second phase starting in 2015.
