Cement prices held steady, following an increase of 1.1% in January, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' producer price index. Annual escalation for the index dropped to 3.0% in February, after sitting at 3.3% in January. ENR's 20-city average price for masonry cement rose 0.2% this month, with yearly prices 1.5% above April 2017's level. Monthly portland-cement prices increased 0.1% this month, while yearly prices dropped 1.6%. All three types of crushed stone and all three types of ready-mix concrete experienced yearly increases.
