Sophisticated Waterproofing Chosen for Unique Subterranean Art Gallery

Open since August 2018, the new Amos Rex art museum in Helsinski, Finland, features a stunning, column-free subterranean art gallery. Any groundwater penetration through the concrete foundation or walls surrounding this 23,680-sq-ft space could result in a costly disaster. To prevent this, the design and construction team selected Xypex Admix C-1000 NF to provide integrated waterproofing, chemical resistance and active crack-healing properties.
