PC Construction Replaces CEO; Obituaries: Transportation Exec and Princeton Educator

PC Construction, South Burlington, Vt., has elevated Chief Operating Officer James F. "Jay" Fayette to president. In that role he replaces Kevin McCarthy, who left the firm in late April, the contractor says. McCarthy also was CEO. Fayette, a 22-year company veteran, had been executive vice president. PC, which says it is among the largest U.S. employee-owned contractors, also named as new CEO and chairman David Crawford, a board director since 2017 and former CEO of Sundt Construction. PC is suing developers of a stalled $85-million housing tower project in Portland, Maine, for $235,000 in unpaid preconstruction services, according to a May 18 Associated Press report.
