Sooner or later when building a model, you'll want to machine two parts the same, or four, or 10, or if you're as crazy as I am then you'll have chosen to build a Garratt, and who knows how many parts you'll need! I'm just making a set of new connecting rods for my 5-inch gauge 'Lion', and as the same machining operation needs to be repeated on each blank, I use my stop to position the blanks in the vice, and I only have to clock in the first part(Photo 1).
