摘要

Urban domestic wastewater was an available and promising fresh water resource for sustainable use. For the residential area, the local collection, treatment and recycling of wastewater is more economic and feasible than centralized treatment. A series papers would like to introduce some work on the development and application of integrated equipment for distributed sewage treatment. This present paper described a pilot study on sequencing batch biofilm reactor (SBBR). In the SBBR process, the average removal percentages of chemical oxygen demand, turbidity, ammonia, nitrogen, total nitrogen and total phosphorous were approximately 87%, 67%, 65%, 61% and 23%, respectively. The optimum operational parameters were as follows: anaerobic reaction time of 2 h, aerobic aeration time of 3 h, and dissolved oxygen concentration of 2-3 mg/L. Nineteen kinds of bacteria, 3 kinds of fungi, 4 kinds of protozoa, 3 kinds of metazoa and 1 kind of oligochaetes were detected in the biofilm. The results indicated that SBBR had a high efficiency and good stability in sewage treatment.
