摘要

It is very important to character the logging curves' response of coal bed methane (CBM) reservoir and analyze their correspondent mechanisms because it's the foundation of CBM reservoir recognizing and evaluation. 185 CBM rock samples were tested, and the data such as proximate analysis, maceral, clay minerals as well as the vitrinite reflectance (Ro) were tested, then by using the mathematic statistical, the geophysical logging mechanism of coal bed methane reservoir were discussed with the analysis of in-situ geophysical logging data, and finally yielded the characters of proximate analysis and geophysical logging in the high rank CBM.
