摘要

This paper presents the performance characteristics of a solar water heating system consisting of 84 m2 flat plate collector and a 5 m3 tank in a high-rise apartment in Yunnan. Solar radiation, ambient air temperature, wind speed and water temperatures in the heat storage tank were measured, then daily useful energy gain and average heat loss factor were calculated with the investigation data. Results showed that there was a clearly observed thermal stratification at the lowest part of the tank, daily useful energy gain and average heat loss factor value were 7.64 MJ/m2 and 9.04 W/ (m3·K) respectively.
