The research of the CA6140 lathe pperation simulator

Based on simulation technique and virtual reality, we have developed a CA6140 lathe operation simulator with virtual functions to simulate the cutting movement of the CA6140 lathe. The CA6140 lathe operation simulator consists of a CA6140 entity lathe model and a virtual lathe model. The entity lathe model can realize movement of the lathe. The virtual lathe model has many simulative functions, such as the splashing chips, the warning of a dangerous operation and the internal structure animation of the lathe. It is useful for machine operators and students to learn the basic knowledge of metal cutting and operating skills.
