摘要

Track utilization is the core of passenger transport organization in railway passenger stations, and considering train pathing, track and platform application, capacity utilization and resources proportional use, this paper proposed several dispatching rules and rule-based heuristic algorithm for solving track utilization problem (TUP) in railway passenger stations. With minimizing the train weight-tardiness number but maximizing the efficiency of track utilization, a mathematic programming model was constructed for TUP by using integer programming. Then, we designed basic, composite and also 6 dispatching rules and solution improvement strategies, and further presented universal rule-based heuristic algorithms to solve such model. Numerical examples were also given to compare these results with different dispatching rules presented in the paper so as to find the most simple and applicable dispatching rules for solving MPM and making track utilization plan for TUP in railway passenger stations effectively.
