Application of improved grey prediction model on carbon dioxide emissions forecasting

摘要

The computation procedure and the method of improving grey prediction model are analyzed in this paper. And the improved model is applied to the prediction of carbon dioxide emissions, which is extremely important for low-carbon activities. By comparing the results of the forecasting examples, we can draw the conclusion that a higher accuracy can be achieved by the modification of an initial value based on the analysis, then achieving more accurate prediction of carbon dioxide emissions.
