2011 MAY 18 - (VerticalNews.com) -- According to a study from Tamil Nadu,rnIndia, "The feasibility of producing thin-walled fluoroelastomer profiles under continuous,rnatmospheric-pressure vulcanization conditions in air has been demonstrated by successfulrnmanufacture of similar to 2 m diameter test inflatable seals for the 500 MWe, Prototype FastrnBreeder Reactor (PFBR) using a 50/50 blend formulation of Viton ® GBL-200S/600S based onrnadvanced polymer architecture (APA). A commercial cold feed screw extruder with 90 mmrndiameter screw was used along with continuous cure by microwave (2.45 GHz) and hot airrnheating (190 degrees C) at a line speed of 1 m/min to produce the seals."
