1. MTS is requesting shareholder approval to spin off its tower and digital infrastructure assets into two separate entities. 2. If implemented, Tower Infrastructure Company (TIC) would become the largest tower infrastructure player in Russia. 3. MTS Web Services would vertically-integrate the company’s digital and traditional infrastructure; with Russia being in the early stages of digital infrastructure investment, the new unit could reap significant rewards by offering industrial clients integrated and bespoke solutions supported by 5G rollout.
