Cellnex has reached an agreement with Cyfrowy Polsat to purchase the latter's infrastructure business, Polkomtel Infrastruktura, for EUR1.6bn. The deal comprises both active and passive infrastructure, including 7,000 tower and sites, 37,000 radio carriers, 11,300km of fibre backbone and fibre-to-the-tower backhaul, and a national network of microwave radio links.
