US food and beverage multinational, Pepsico continues to expand its footprint in Russia, with the announcement in September 2020 of its third snack factory in the country, to be located in Novosibirsk, in the region of Siberia.2. The factory will be located in Novosibirsk, in the region of Siberia. The agreement was initially signed at the Sochi Investment Forum in 2019, with the deal value totalling to RUB12.0bn (USD160mn). This will mark Pepsico's third snack factory in the country. Its first factory, devoted to producing its snack products was established in Kashira, near Moscow in 2002. The second was launched in 2007 and is located in the Rostov region, accounting for USD160mn and USD170mn investment respectively.
