On October 8, the Hitachi IT Apartment House System Showroom opened at the Dashi Plant of Guangzhou Hitachi Elevator Co., Ltd. (HELG), which is headquartered in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. Hitachi and HELG recently decided to promote a comprehensive apartment and building management business in China. The showroom provides visitors from medium- and high-level apartment building developers with the experience of using advanced systems and services related to apartment houses. The decision to promote IT systems and services was prompted by the recent construction of large medium- and high-level apartment buildings boom in the larger urban areas of China, such as Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing. These upscale residences with greater convenience and security are in high demand.
