Während die Auswirkungen dieses Strukturwandels auf die zentralen, künftig unternehmensweit zu nutzenden Informationssysteme in den Netzleitstellen bereits mehrfach diskutiert wurden, erläutern die Verfasser die Trends der Sekundärtechnik in den Stationen. Durch den Einsatz moderner digitaler Sekundärtechnik lassen sich technische Strukturen verbessern und Synergiepotentiale nutzen.%The deregulation of the energy market compels energy supplying companies to adapt to this new situation by reviewing their organisation and technical structures, if they wish to stay competitive in the operation of their grid systems. Whilst the impact of new market conditions on future control and information systems of the networks installed centrally and used globally, has been widely discussed, this article is to look at the trends concerning new approaches to the control and protection systems of substations. By making use of modern digital control and protection techniques technical infra-structure can be vastly improved and synergy potential be exploited at an optimum.
