Over the years we have seen many projects that use the I~2C bus for communi-cation between devices. Most use the intelligence of a microcontroller when it's necessary to translate information between a PC and an I~2C bus. There is a simpler method, used by this chip-card reader. To make it work we only need a few components and a hacker's guile!
