Problems of Massive Data Storage in cardiac event monitoring using microcontroller dsPIC

摘要

The core of the project is the high performance DSP of the dsPIC33F family. It receives data from medical sensors, implements signal detecting and processing on DSP, then data is sent through the SPI bus to the mass storage device such as the removable Flash-based media card for further analysis. For a practical reason the SanDisk 512 MB SD card was used. Low power portable and easily implemented Hotter method of recording electrocardiogram EKG is researched.
