摘要

This paper presents results of the numerical simulation of interaction of the microwave plane wave with a planar metamaterial structure SRR-dielectric substrate. The simulation was carried out using the electromagnetic solver Microwave Studio by CST. The absorption, reflection and transmission coefficients of the SRR-dielectric substrate structure in the range of 1 - 20 GHz were determined. The corresponding complex electric permittivity and complex magnetic permeability were also calculated. The results showed that the absorption of the microwaves by the SRR-dielectric substrate structure exhibits a resonance character. It was found that the highest resonance peak-type values (about 95 %) of the absorption coefficient occurred for frequencies of about 2.75 GHz, 7.7 GHz and 9 GHz. The SRR-dielectric substrate structure studied in this work seems to be a good candidate for building the large-scale microwave absorbers.
