Vishay s new W case size for high- capacitance tantalum chip capacitor

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced the addition of the new W case (EIA 7361) for its popular low-ESR TR3 high-capacitance, high-voltage moulded tantalum chip capacitor. Measuring 7.3 mm by 6.0 mm, with a height of 3.45 mm, the new case size allows for capacitance and voltage range expansion beyond the existing A through E case sizes. Following Vishay's recent release of 63 V and 75 V tantalum capacitors, the introduction of the low-ESR TR3 W case version underscores the company's commitment to offering best-in-class ratings featuring robust designs with maximum voltage and the highest capacitance available in the industry.
