New approach for equalising phase velocities in coupled microstrip lines

A new method for correcting the difference between the phase velocities of even and odd modes in coupled microstrip lines is suggested. The method is based on use of a biisotropic substrate with an appropriate value of the parameter /spl xi//sup 2///spl epsi//spl mu/.
