Built-in identification of faulty switches in interconnection networks

摘要

The author proposes a simple circuit which can be utilised by output terminals of interconnection networks for quick indication of faulty switches, provided that they exist. The assumed fault model and design scheme are suitable for multiprocessor systems as well as for photonic switching networks.
