摘要

Recently, the demand for high reliability of micro- processors (μP) has been increasing. As a means of moni- toring the operating situation of μP, the watchdog processor (WDP) has been widely used. However, at present, it is not possible to detect all errors in the μP. Hence, it is highly desirable that the entire system, including the μP, have higher reliability. In particular, in online systems the con- figuration of a system with both high reliability and real- time processing is indispensable.
