Realization of a narrow-band bandpass filter for SSB communication system

An SSB signal generator performing phase shifting, used in SSB communications, is composed of an analytic signal converter, a complex coefficient filter, and a carrier frequency multiplier. For higher density integration and lower energy consumption, a narrow-band bandpass filter having an analytic signal outputting pair having a dual function of an analytic signal converter and a complex coefficient filter has been proposed. However, only basic schemes for such a filter have been proposed, and its effects on the circuit configuration, element sensitivity, and image rejection radio of approximate errors, which are problems associated with its implementation, have not been studied.
