Consisting of the BCSB200 baseband IC and the BCSR200 RFIC, the BCS200 WiMAX chipset demonstrates maximum HARQ (hybrid automatic repeat request) performance specified in the WiMAX profile, exceeding a sustainable throughput of 20 Mbits/s when operating the chipset in "Category 4" HARQ mode (the highest-performance HARQ mode in the WiMAX Forum Profile). The BCSB200 baseband IC is a highly integrated, software-programmable, multifunction digital-analog mixed-signal IC that implements IEEE 802.16e scalable OFDMA PHY and MAC functionality.
