The LTM4614 is a complete dual dc/dc μModule regu-lator system that includes inductors in a surface-i mount package that has a 15 × 15-mm footprint and a 2.8-mm height. The device can regulate either two voltages from 0.8 to 5 V at up to 4 A each or one output voltage at up to 8 A by sharing current from both outputs.rnThe regulator's versatility is enhanced by its ability to operate from two different supply rails ranging from 2.375 to 5.5 V (6 V max) or from one input supply by tying the input pins together. The module includes all the elements needed for a dual point-of-load regulator: inductors, capacitors, dc/dc controller, compensation circuitry, and power switches. All are encapsulated and protected within a plastic surface-mount LGA (land grid array) package.
