ADCs suit portable data acquisition apps

The ADS7947, ADS7948, and ADS7949 SAR A/D converters provide 2-Msample/s and two-channel data conversion at 12-, 10-, and 8-bit resolution, respectively, and were de-rnsigned for applications such as portable data acquisition, x-y positioning,rnbattery monitoring, and instrumentation and control. Additional features include a SNR of 72 dB at 7.5 mW and a supply range of 2.7 to 5.5 V, with a full-scale input range extending to 5 V, enabling one converter to accommodate both 3.3- and 5-V applications.
