Intel and Nokia team up on open-source Linux

MeeGo is an open-source Linux project that brings the Moblin project, headed up by Intel, and Maemo, by Nokia, into a single open-source activity. The MeeGo project melds the experience and skills of these two experts in communications and computingrntechnologies to form a technical foundation for next-generation netbooks/entry-level desktops, handheld computing and communications devices, in-vehicle infotainment devices, connected TVs, and media phones.
