The MAX17085B integrated power solution combines a multichemistry battery charger with dual PWM step-down controllers. It suits notebooks, UMPCs, MIDs, and other portable applications in which space and component cost are critical.rnThe battery charger supports a 1.2-MHz switching frequency and has dual SMPSs with dual keep-alive linear regulators to supply system power in the off, standby, and alive states. The charge-voltage setting is adjustable and accurate to ±0.4%.
