Geared for students in grades K through 12, the Dell Latitude 2100 net-book offers such "children-friendly" features as textured surfaces for better grip, keyboard with antimicrobial protection, and the exclusive Network Activity Light program, which allows teachers to monitor student network activity. The 10.43 × 7.36-in. netbook, customizable from 0.89 to 1.57 in. thick, uses the Intel Atom N270 (1.60 GHz, 512-Kbyte L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB) chipset platform and runs on either Microsoft Windows or Linux OS.
