The advent of modern electronics has accelerated the proliferation of display technology in many products, from cell phones to televisions. The size and brightness of the display is growing…and so is its power consumption.rnOne method to save power is to measure the ambient-light level and then reduce the brightness when the light is low. This has the additional benefit of actually improving the viewing experience.
