3D tool aids custom connector design

摘要

An online modeling tool, based on existing Web-based configuration technology from ITT Interconnect Solutions, enables design engineers to dynamically create virtual 3D connector models. The tool allows designers to download and import different fully assembled connector solutions straight into prototype designs, reducing time to market for new products. Output model formats include STEP, Pro/E, Shrinkwrap STL, and IGES. Modeling capability currently available for ITT's 38999 Series III connectors, but products are continuously added.
