This market covers a variety of product types, including battery management, energy management, LED driver, and power-over-Ethernet products. It wasn't that long ago when PMICs became a necessary part of designs, partly to reduce heat in data centers. Well, nothing has changed and the need for power management has expanded to most applications. This growth can be attributed to increasing demand for energy-efficient devices, technological advancements in the PMICs, and the growing trend of energy-harvesting technologies that leverage the PMIC features. The increasing application of PMICs in various sectors - such as consumer electronics, wearable electronics, automotive, healthcare, industrial and retail, and building control - is also driving PMIC market growth.
