Welcome to your last 2018 issue of EPDT - where has the year gone? As I write this month's editorial, I'm making my final preparations to fly to Munich for electronica, the world's leading trade fair for electronic components, systems, applications and solutions - the biggest and most important trade show in our industry. Some of the UK's key engineering trade shows have also been taking place around this time of year - and I just attended the Engineering Impact Awards and NIDays, an event targeted at engineers building test and measurement applications and systems.
