摘要

Faulted-mode condition for multiphase induction machines means that one or more phases of supply are removed. Modelling the machine under these conditions presents many questions for squirrel-cage topology about consideration of the fictive rotor windings. In this way, this paper presents a comparison between two assumptions on considering the modelling of a six-phase induction machine with squirrel-cage. When one phase is opened, the first classical assumption is based on the consideration that the fictive rotor windings are composed of six balanced dimension while the second and new one is based on the existence of five balanced rotor windings for the rotor. To evaluate the efficiency of each model, the speed spectrums obtained in simulation with the two models are compared with the experimental ones when one phase is opened.
