Some aspects of the application of fuzzy-control in an electric drive

A brief historical review of the development stages of fuzzy logic is given. The position of fuzzy-control among the main trends in fuzzy-logic is described. The main features of fuzzy-control, which determine its possible fields of application, are outlined. The fields of application of a fuzzy-controller for electric drives are analyzed.
