摘要

A cost-effective electrical propulsion system for ships with a low-speed double-rotation electric motor is considered. A mathematical model of thy system is constructed. The transient processes occurring during the start-up and reversal of the electric drive of the coaxial screw propellers are investigated. It is shown that the use of an electric motor with two coaxial shafts enables the efficiency of the ship electric power plant to be increased by 25.
