Apar Industries bags export orders worth Rs 122.5 cr

Electrical and metallurgical firm Apar Industries said it has bagged a Rs 122.5-cr export order from Ethiopia-based Electric Power Corporation, to supply aluminium alloy conductors, galvanized steel wires and aluminium round tie-wires for power distribution and transmission lines. The company had recently sold its polymers unit in Gujarat to the Indian arm of France-based Eliokem group for Rs 111 cr. The sale of the unit, based in Valia, Gujarat, was done on a growing concern basis, the company had said.
