BEST: Simply the finest service provider in the city

The BEST (Bombay Electric Supply & Transport Undertaking) gets its power supply from tne Tata Power Companies (TPC) and tne Makarasktra State Electricity Board (MSEB) kaving tkeir generating stations located in different parts of Makarasktra State and form an interconnected transmission system grid in tke Mumkai-Pune region. Electric power from tkis system is transmitted at 220/110kV tkrougk overkead conductors and underground cakles amongst otkers to TPC's and BEST's sukstations in tke city.
