Reliance Infrastructure's Dahanu Thermal Power Station Bags Golden Peacock Innovation Award

Reliance Infrastructure Limited's Dahanu Thermal Power Station has won the prestigious Golden Peacock Innovation Award for year 2008. Institute of Directors, an organization engaged in encouraging implementation of the best business practices in the Indian Industry, has conferred on the prestigious award to the Dahanu power station.The selection process was through nominations and assessed by the panel of juries consisting of eminent personalities from various fields. The jury panel was led by Justice R N. Bhagawati, retired Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India. Based on the performance of power station and various innovative measures adopted by them for power generation, the jury panel conferred this prestigious award to Dahanu Thermal Power Station.
